Gojdycz Earns "Coach of the Year" HonorsApril 3rd, 2008; by Anonymous
Andy Gojdycz, General Manager and Head Coach of Rutgers University Ice Knights, has received the "Coach of the Year" award from the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League (NECHL). Gojdycz guided the Rutgers men’s ice hockey team to a 20-8-2 record, it’s best record in ten years. Rutgers captured the regular season league championship and finished second in the league playoffs.
The Ice Knights strong finish earned Rutgers the number 28 ranking in Division 1 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Gojdycz was also recognized by the ACHA as one of the Division 1 "Coach of the Year" finalist for his efforts.
Coach Gojdycz frequently worked with the North Hunterdon Ice Hockey Club's developmental team during their pond hockey practices this past season. Back to archive
