North Overwhelms Kittatinny and Old Bridge

The North Hunterdon Ice Hockey Club won both games this weekend, defeating the Old Bridge Junior Knights U16 team 9-4 on Saturday and then Kittatinny on Sunday 10-1. Ten different players scored goals over the weekend including freshman defenseman John Buckhout and junior winger Casey Lotz who collected their first tallies of the season. Buckhout finished with two goals and Lotz had a goal and an assist in the victories. Mark Schwanda lead the scoring with five goals and an assist, Alec Schleicher added three goals and two assists, Jordan Gionas had a goal and four assists, Mark Warner and Wyatt Kunzman each had two goals, freshman Jimmy Pytell and Brian Clancey each had a goal and an assist, Ben Marchesini added a goal and Zach Bennedsen had an assist in the offensive outbreak.

North improved their record to 9-1 and has won the last six straight.
