Kyle Fischbach made 22 saves Friday, losing his bid for a shut out with just two ticks left on the clock and Alec Schleicher had two goals and three assists as the Lions avenged last year's loss to the Pirates. “It was a great win for the program” said head coach Jim Schwanda, “They were the first team we played last year (lost 6-8) and to beat them convincingly this year shows great improvement”. Greg Garcia, Taylor Lee, Ben Marchesini and Mark Schwanda also scored in the victory.

North travels to New York Thursday to face off against Columbia Prep and then back home to Aspen for a 5:30 P.M. league game against Hunterdon Central on Saturday night. North finishes the busy weekend with a trip to Old Bridge to play the Jr. Knights in a non-league match-up Sunday night.
The North Hunterdon Ice Hockey Club is not supported or affiliated in any way with the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District. (But it ought to be!)
